We have a fabulous group of Instructors from varied backgrounds such as Physiotherapy, Ballet, Body Building, Latin dancing and Pre and Post natal experience. You will find each class will work your entire body. However, no class will be the same. You will always be challenged to step outside your comfort zone!
Callie graduated as a Physiotherapist in the UK in 2010 and has worked in the Public and Private sector in London, Singapore, South West Rocks and Sydney. She started teaching Pilates along side her Physio career after she found it very beneficial herself and quickly saw the benefits for her patients.
She has experience working with people with Acute and Chronic injuries and so is able to modify the classes to suit individuals. She is experienced in Pre and Post Natal Pilates and is a Qualified Oncology Rehab Specialist with a PINC and STEEL certificate.
She loves the opportunity to help people achieve their goals and return to what they love doing.
She started Studio 40 Pilates in the hope to offer an affordable, supportive, evidence based exercise option in a welcoming environment, available to all.
When she is not working, you can find her on the beach with family, climbing stairs in the National Park or snowboarding.

Pat has over 12 years of experience, including instructing reformer and mat Pilates, barre, prenatal and postnatal group classes. Whether your focus is a decent strength session or maybe a good stretch, Pat will aim to understand your goals to help you get the best of out of your Pilates class.
With over 30 years of Classical Pilates teaching experience, and a background of Ballet, she will make sure your technique is spot on. A class with Tamara, will leave you feeling stronger, taller and leaner.
Megan has over 15 years of experience working in Pilates, helping clients achieve their goals, and training Teachers to become the best they can be.
Megan will be taking Thursday evenings.
Katie, a qualified Dietician has a very dedicated caring approach to her teaching.
Bianca has been partaking in Pilates since she was 15 years old. With a background in dance, Bianca always loved the way pilates made her feel and wishes for clients to also feel their best. With new and exciting exercises each class, Bianca always finds new ways to keep everyone on their toes!
Lillian has a background in physical culture, bringing with it a strong passion for movement, flexibility and strength. She loves to infuse some joy and excitement to each session, ensuring Pilates is not only effective but also enjoyable. She is also at uni currently completing her degrees in Psychology and Business.
Adele has been practising pilates for 16 years. She was working as an assistant fashion designer when she found her passion! The gym she attended had an amazing mat Pilates instructor called Mary. She noticed an improvement in her posture, decreased neck pain and better sleep.
She decided to change her career, doing a Cert III in Fitness Training, Pilates Mat and Reformer, and then Yoga.
She has attained pregnancy fitness certificates, an aerobic instructor certificate, and a Barre Attack certificate along her journey.
She believes reformer is ultimately the best thing in the world! She loves spending time with wonderful people who want to better their health.
Her training has been been various schools : Tiaki, Studio Pilates, Polestar, Preggie Bellies and Barre Attack.
Anya is a devoted Pilates instructor by Dawn and the Head of Data Governance for an Energy Company by Day! Her relationship with Pilates began as a client at Studio 40 over two years ago. Her passion for the discipline, lead her down the path to becoming an instructor. Anya's approach to teaching is influenced by her experiences as a client, teaching creative, challenging exercises, whilst still remaining true to Joseph Pilates' Principles. Anya’s classes are not just about physical fitness, but also about the joy of movement, the pleasure of progressing and the sense of community that comes from a shared effort and achievement.
